Man, I tell you I stepped outside Sunday morning and it was cold! I thought summer was almost here. Boy was I wrong. Winter was hanging on. Then today while I wouldn’t say it was cold, I would say it still just a bit chilly!

Calling all lawn mowers! We will have a meeting next Sunday at 3 pm. This is for those not already on the team. I am really trying to see if I can get some more people interested. I know it is a huge job! Y’all have been doing it for a long time. We all appreciate you. If you have ever thought about how you can serve this may be it. Come to the meeting and see.

Billy wants to get a Men’s Ministry going. Funny, Ramona and I just talked about that. We had put on the calendar a men’s breakfast for the fall. Grady had also asked me to look at a thing for men and tell him what I thought. Hmm. God may be up to something here. Anyhow stay tuned for more information.

Really, we must be on the lookout for the second coming of Jesus. We want Him to find us doing what we should be doing. It’s so easy to get distracted. So easy to get off course by doing something we think we should be doing when it’s not what Jesus would have us do. Just something to think about.

Pray constantly.
