I have to watch myself lest I fall into the trap. I know it is there, but I cannot help myself. What trap? That one about riches. Oh yeah that one! Proverbs 23:4-5 says, “Do not overwork to be rich; because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches make themselves wings; they fly away like an eagle toward heaven.”

You see riches are like an eagle. They grow a pair of wings and are gone just as fast as they came. If I love them too much, I will be disappointed because they will be gone. Besides who wants to give up time with their kids in order to obtain them? How about you’re spouse? Remember, they grow a pair of wings like and eagle. So, learn to be content with what you have. Learn to be happy and live like it. Set your eyes on those things which ARE!

Yesterday was a great day in the House of the Lord. We had some incredible worship. It is always good to see a full house. People there to see Kate baptized, some were there just because. Any way you slice it they got to hear the Word of God.
