BK’S KORNER

The Season is here! Christmas fast approaching. We are currently hanging lights and decorating houses. We drug out the Christmas Trees as soon as we got home. Getting prepared. Don’t forget to breathe and make sure that you celebrate the true reason for the season. Christ our Savior and King is born. We celebrate Him during this Season. 

Wouldn’t it be great if we spent as much time preparing for our worship as do for Christmas? We could be certain that we would worship in Spirit and Truth.  Prepare for Worship in some way. The most important thing you can do is pray. Let’s all try it this week.

Be sure to be here to vote on Billy this next Sunday. The one thing I’ve heard since the Q & A is that they have a servant’s heart. They certainly do. Honestly, I’ll take that over talent any day. We could have the most musically educated person in the world, but if they did not love the church as much as Billy and Pam do then it would all be for naught. They do not have any pretense about them. They don’t pretend to be something they are not, what you see is what you get. 

Y’all know I love the Christmas Season I love everything about it. This year I am looking forward to having all my children home and together at the same time. Of course, I have an Activities Director for a wife so we will have plenty of things to do. 

Be sure to come to church next week. Come prepared to worship.
