YOUTH MINISTER UPDATE

Church Family,

Pastor Keith’s message this week from 2 Peter 3 directed our attention toward a truth that shapes the entire Christian life—the promised return of Jesus Christ. Peter reminds believers that while the world may question or dismiss that promise, God’s Word remains certain. The delay people perceive is not forgetfulness on God’s part, but patience, as He continues to extend the opportunity for repentance and salvation.

That perspective should shape the way we live. The promise of Christ’s return is not meant to cause fear in the hearts of believers, but motivation. Because of the victory Jesus has already secured through His death and resurrection, we can live with confidence and purpose. Our hope is certain, and that certainty should be visible in the way we speak and act.

One of the clearest ways we live in that victory is by sharing the gospel with others. Knowing that Christ will return reminds us that the message of salvation is urgent and life-changing. We have been entrusted with the good news that forgiveness and eternal life are available through Jesus Christ. As believers, we are called to live in a way that reflects that hope and to share it boldly with those around us.

My prayer is that our students—and all of us as a church family—continue to grow in both confidence and compassion. Confidence because Christ has already won the victory, and compassion because there are still many who need to hear the good news before He returns.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support for our students as they learn what it means to live faithfully and share Christ with the world around them.
In Christ,
Cody
