YOUTH MINISTER’S UPDATE
Church Family,
Over the past several weeks, Pastor BK has faithfully called our church to pray for revival and to prepare our hearts for what revival truly requires. Scripture reminds us that revival is not something we create through effort or enthusiasm, but something God brings as His people respond in obedience, humility, and faith.
Throughout the Bible, revival is consistently tied to God’s people boldly living out and sharing the gospel. When believers take seriously the call to proclaim Christ, both through their words and their lives, hearts are stirred, repentance follows, and lives are transformed. Revival doesn’t begin with packed rooms or polished programs; it begins when ordinary people are faithful with the message they have been entrusted to carry.
The apostle Paul captures this truth clearly in Romans 1:16, when he writes, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” The gospel itself is the power. When it is shared boldly and lived faithfully, God uses it to bring salvation, renewal, and spiritual awakening. Revival flows from a church that is unashamed to proclaim Christ.
As Pastor BK has reminded us, revival begins in the hearts of God’s people. For our children and youth, this means they must see a faith that is active and outward-facing. When they watch adults speak about Jesus with confidence, compassion, and love, they learn that the gospel is not meant to be hidden or confined to Sunday mornings, it is meant to be lived and shared every day.
May we continue to pray earnestly for revival, while also stepping forward in obedience by sharing the hope we have in Christ. Let us be a church unashamed of the gospel, trusting that God will move powerfully as we faithfully proclaim His truth.
In Christ,
