YOUTH MINISTER'S UPDATE
Church Family,
This past week, Pastor Keith’s message from Ephesians 3:5 reminded us of a powerful truth: the mystery of God’s plan—once hidden—has now been revealed through Christ. Because of Jesus, we are no longer outsiders. We are heirs, brought into God’s family and made part of His redemptive work in the world.
That identity should shape the way we live. As heirs in Christ, we walk in the victory He has already secured for us. Our confidence is not based on our abilities or accomplishments, but on what Christ has done on our behalf. When we truly understand that, it changes how we approach our faith and how we interact with those around us.
Part of living as heirs of Christ is carrying the good news of salvation to others. The gospel was never meant to stop with us—it was meant to be shared. As believers, we are called to live in a way that reflects the grace we have received and to speak openly about the hope we have found in Jesus.
That is why the words of Romans 1:16 continue to challenge and encourage us: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” Our calling is not to keep our faith quiet, but to live and speak boldly, trusting that God works through the message of the gospel to change lives.
My prayer is that our students—and all of us as a church family—continue to grow in understanding who we are in Christ. When we remember that we are heirs of His promise, it gives us both the courage and the responsibility to share that hope with the world around us.
In Christ,
Cody
