YOUTH MINISTER 'S UPDATE

Church Family,

This week, Pastor Keith’s sermon reminded us ofthe urgency with which we are called to live as followersof Christ. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 4:15, he highlighted Paul’s deliberate use of “we”
as he spoke to the church about the coming of the Lord. Paul wasn’t speaking to a distant, hypothetical group—he was speaking to us, his brothers and sisters in Christ. This passage is meant to encourage believers, reminding us that Christ’s return is certain and that we have the privilege of living in anticipation of it together.

As Christians, this truth calls us to action. We do not know the day or hour, and the reality that Christ could return at any moment should shape the way we live. Our faith is not passive; it is active, intentional, and outward-facing.

Every conversation, every act of service, and every opportunity to share the gospel matters. We share the hope we have in Christ not out of obligation, but out of confidence and love, knowing the world is waiting for the good news.

Let us be a church that models what it means to live in readiness, confident in our salvation and bold in our witness. May our students see what it looks like to live fully in the light of Christ’s return—faithful, courageous, and unashamed.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support as we help the next generation grow in faith and live intentionally for Christ.

In Christ,
Cody
