Youth Ministry Update

Church Family,
We are excited to announce that the sign-up sheet for Hot Hearts will be posted this week! Hot Hearts is always a powerful time of worship and renewal for our students, and we don’t want anyone to miss out. The cost this year is $60.  You do not want to miss out on this amazing day!

We also want to invite everyone to our Youth Christmas Party on December 17. This will be a great night of food, games, and celebrating the joy of the Christmas season together. More details will be coming soon, but be sure to mark your calendars!

Pastor Keith’s sermon has me reflecting on the story of Ruth and the surprising way God wove her into the lineage of Jesus. Ruth was an outsider, a Moabite, someone no one would have expected to play a part in God’s redemption story. Yet through her faithfulness, humility, and trust in the Lord, she became the great-grandmother of King David—and eventually part of the genealogy that leads directly to Christ (Matthew 1:5).

Ruth’s story reminds us that God delights in using ordinary and unexpected people to bring about extraordinary purposes. Her life is a testimony that no step of obedience is wasted, no act of faithfulness overlooked, and no person beyond the gracious reach of God’s plans. As we guide our students, let’s continue to model this truth: that God can use anyone who is willing to trust Him, and that He is always writing a story far greater than we can see.

Thank you, church family, for walking alongside our youth and helping them discover their place in God’s unfolding story.
