Thank You
Last night we hosted our annual baked goods auction to help raise funds for the Youth. There were three long tables bursting at the seams with all types of baked goods. There were pies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, puddings, sweet breads, and more! This year the ever coveted italian creme cake was again the most lively part of the auction. 

In total we raised nearly $2,500 for the Youth. On behalf of the students and the families they represent, thank you. Your generosity will go towards helping our students attending all manner of trips and events this summer. Having these funds will eliminate a large barrier for all the students and free them and their families to be able to attend all the events we have scheduled, and the ones still to be scheduled, in the days ahead.

Beyond your generosity, thank you for coming. Your presence at the fundraiser goes beyond any amount of money. Having a room full of people who love our students, pray for them, and want to support them is what encourages me, and many others, more than anything. It shows that this church knows that we are one body in Christ. We confess one Lord and one faith. From the oldest to the youngest in the room, we stand united in our Savior. 

So again, thank you. Thank you for your time, prayers, support, presence, generosity, and love. I hope that this encourages you just as it encourages our students and their families.  May we all go forward seeking to glorify God as we go and gather together.
