MUSIC MOMENTS
Sunday, our FBCBC Fam was singing loud and clear. What a blessing to hear your voices praising and crying out to God!
“Hosanna (Praise is Rising)”
By Brenton Brown and Paul Balache
Hosanna, Hosanna, You are The God who saves us,
Worthy of all our praises.
Hosanna, Hosanna, come have
Your Way among us,
We welcome You here, Lord Jesus.
Did a little background check. This song was taken from Matthew 21:9 Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out saying: “Hosanna to The Son of David! Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of The Lord.” “Hosanna” was a desperate plea for a Savior from the hearts of those expecting an earthly king to set up His Reign in this world.
“Hosanna” is not only a joyful shout but a profound cry to God for salvation and rescue. This jubilant worship comes from a heart of devotion in ALL circumstances. The One and Only Source of Hope, Healing and Renewal before His Kingdom draws near is

“Come Jesus Come” by Hank Bentley, Bryan Fowler, Stephen McWhirter and Tara McWhirter
One day He’ll come, and we’ll stand face to face.
Come and lay it all down, “cause it might be today
The time is right now, there’s no need to wait.
Your past will be washed by rivers of grace.
“Come, Jesus, Come.”
It was written during the early 2020 pandemic as a prayer asking for God’s Return. Stephen McWhirter was reading Revelation 22:17 and it turned into a song for God to change hearts, families and the world. Our God can do the same for us!
Love y’all, Billy and Pam
