MUSIC MOMENTS

Fellow FBCBC Brothers and Sisters joined in unity with Christ,

Recently, a song we have been listening to is “I Believe.” This song was written by Charity Gayle and her husband, Ryan Kennedy. It started us thinking about the way we live. This song focuses on faith in hard times, hard circumstances, and hard situations.

We asked ourselves: Do our lifestyles match our talk? Then we asked: Do our conversations point others to Christ?

“I Believe” by Charity Gayle
Jesus, You’re for me, holding me steady,
Ev’ry word You speak is a promise that you keep.
This firm foundation cannot be shaken.
My God, You never fail, never once,
You never will. I believe.
I believe You are Who You say You are,
You’ll do what You say You’ll do,
You’ll come through, You are always able.
I believe You’ve already made a way,
So’ I’m running through parted waves,
straight to You.
You are always faithful
I believe, in The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

So, YES … how we live does tell more about what we believe that what we say. We decided it’s time for us to be more intentional in sharing The Gospel. We also decided to plan to be bolder with our faith. Then, we decided to trust God more, worry less and watch our faith grow.

Our journeys may all look different as we travel in this life. But, we can be sure if we stand together on God’s Word we will do more than just survive. We will truly live for Christ. No regrets.

Just thinking! Love y’all,
Billy & Pam
