Music Moments
FBCBC Living Stones,
Assembling ourselves together yesterday was an encouraging day of worship. We felt God’s Presence. We saw the results of “Sunday in The BC Park.” The Thanksgiving Meal and the decorations were incredible and were matched only by our sweet fellowship.
BK’s sermon from Psalm 100 challenged us in several different ways but for us, it was extremely hard to get away from the first verse.
Psalm 100:1
“Shout to the Lord with joy,
Everyone on the earth.”
What is the definition of “shout?” uncontained exclamation Why “shout?” Because The Bible says to and God deserves it. What gets in the way of our “Shouting” for joy to The Lord?
The next thing that BK said which struck my heart was: “Every single thing in my life has to pass through God’s Hands, whether good or bad.” No matter what my conditions or circumstances, God is worthy of receiving my “Triumphant Shout.” Yes, He is worthy! He is with us through the good & bad, ups and downs and in-betweens of life “to fight for us against our enemies to give us victory.” Deuteronomy 20:4
When we focus more on God than what we need, it might be easier to “Shout Triumphntly” because of the joy He has given us. Try parciticing this week, see if it strengthens your faith. We have reason s to praise The Lord when we remember His goodness and mercy.
What did Joshua tell the Israelites to do?
He said: Shout! “For The Lord has given you the city?”
Let’s take Bridge City for Jesus . . . Love Billy & Pam
