PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD
PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD…
I made a statement this past Sunday at the beginning of our worship service that Sunday is my favorite day of the week. I thought about that statement and I wouldn’t change it, but what leads up to our Sunday worship?
It starts on Monday morning when we wake up and remember to whom we belong and what we are called to do.
“I’m finding myself in the midst of You
Beyond the music, beyond the noise
All that I need is to be with You
And in the quiet hear Your voice”
We are called to pray for our “one”, our church, our families, our community. Also, to pray for ourselves and that we do what God has prepared for us to do. We are reaching out and will continue to reach out in Jesus name to prepare the way of the Lord and let others know of His saving grace and His mercy and His love for them.
II Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness, instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
IT’S TIME TO SING
NIGHT OF WORSHIP-GOSPEL HYMN SING
Our annual Night of Worship is scheduled for Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. This will be different as we will be singing all gospel hymns. We invite anyone interested in being in the choir for this event to come to our first practice on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the choir room. We are including other churches in our area to come and participate in the choir.
Be sure to put this date on your calendar as it will be a wonderful night of worship. The congregation will be singing along with every song. We will have the words on the big screen for your convenience.
So, it’s time to sing . . . no excuses!
For His glory,
Debbie
