Merry Christmas! I’m so glad that my life was changed by that Baby who was born in Bethlehem. That is the real source of celebration that I find in this season. He truly is the reason. Be sure to be intentional about making sure Christ is an integral part of your Holidays. Find our Christmas schedule here in the Bridge Builder and make plans to attend.
I have recently found out that one of the best ways to treat the more serious COVID patients is with plasma from those who have had it. If you had COVID19 and recovered you may want to give some serious consideration to donating some plasma. Check out LifeShare and see where and when they are having drives. You may also call the Health department and they can give you some information I’m sure. Consider giving. It may just help someone in their recovery.
I also just want to say “Thank You” to the FBC family. Whenever we ask you to give something you always come through. Whether it be money for Lottie Moon, Disaster relief, or items to give to the homeless, you always overwhelm me with your generosity. Thank you for allowing God use you to meet so many different needs.
We started back Sunday School and Children’s Church this past Sunday. It was really good to see people beginning to come back. Please know that our Sanctuary has been professionally deep cleaned and we are being very diligent to spray and wipe. We do care about your physical health. We also care about your spiritual health. It’s a tight line we have to walk but we are doing it the best we can allowing the Spirit of the Lord to guide us.
We are planning a Bethlehem Star, Watch Party. This month, beginning December 21 Saturn and Jupiter are supposed to line up and produce what looks like a very bright and shining Star. Possibly just like the one that led the Magi to Bethlehem. We are going to meet in the parking lot on December 21 at 5:45 pm. We will have a time of fellowship, hot chocolate and smores. We will see what we can see and maybe have some “wonder” about the birth of our Savior.
Everyone have a great week. Take care of yourselves. Smile, be thankful, pray, count your blessings and remember A Baby Changes Everything.
Love you all
